Transform your cheekbones in a few simple swipes.
Round-shaped faces generally have an equal length and width. Contour products are used to illuminate the center of the face while slimming it on the sides. In this tutorial, we show you how to use contour products that create angular definition. BECKY PEDERSON
Highlight the high points of your face. For a round-shaped face, draw an X in the center of your forehead and bring the line down the nose. Create another X on your chin and follow with two V's under your eyes.
Contour with a warm, taupe shade to offset your highlighter. Draw a curved line from the center of your ear to your jawline. Follow with C shapes on your temples. Then shade the sides of your nose.
First blend your highlighter with a small brush using rolling motions so the product stays in place. Then use a bigger brush to blend your contour. Blend your cheek contour down your jawline and your forehead contour into your hairline.
Finish with a translucent powder. Use a pressing motion so you don't sweep any of your makeup away. Make sure you hit your T-zone and under your eyes, as those spots tend to get the oiliest.
