FRONT/CENTER: INTRODUCING THE 2016 COLOR OF THE YEAR

Breaking news! The official 2016 Sephora + Pantone Universe Color of the Year is Rose Quartz and Serenity. The soft pink and pale blue will soon be available in a range of finishes for chic eye and lip looks to be worn any way, anywhere. Starting in December, the collection will be available exclusively at Sephora for a limited time.

Take a peek below at the product details featuring the comforting hue of Rose Quartz and subtle yet unexpected shade of Serenity—because when it comes to color in 2016, no rules are the new rules.

THE LIP GLOSS

In line with its rule-breaking mantra, the six pastel hues in this lip gloss set are anything but understated. A swipe of the melt-on-your-mouth formula instantly delivers rich color and a dose of conditioning hydration. Your lips will look contemporary, smooth, and unexpected.

THE LIPSTICK

In 2016, sweet hues take on a bold attitude and these matte lipsticks deliver the drama with full-color payoff. Swipe on the velvety matte texture in Rose Quartz for a femme look that’s not afraid of being unconventional.

While this lipstick comes in the same texture and finish as Rose Quartz, this version of the lipstick is even more daring, yet delicate thanks to its Serenity hue. Color it on your lips for a futuristic effect that wows the present.

THE PRO TIP

Apply either Rose Quartz or Serenity to your bottom lip and then rub the top into it for a modern, light gradient effect. Make sure there is enough color on the top and if not, reapply to the bottom lip again and repeat.
