Time was, mascara wands were all one and the same. Luckily, the new guard (which are exclusive to Sephora, btw) come in a variety of sizes and shapes to suit your every whim.

1. GIVENCHY NOIR COUTURE
   THE WAND: A unique, triple-sphere shape lets this brush lengthen all lashes.
   THE LOOK: Dramatic
   THE TIP: Draw the wand outward instead of upward for a doe-eyed effect.
2. BUXOM SCULPTED LASH MASCARA
   THE WAND: The S-shaped brush gets to every last hair and allows you to style your lashes in a variety of ways.
   THE LOOK: Fanned out
   THE TIP: Sweep through lashes with the tip down while slowly rotating the brush—then use the tip for inner and bottom lashes, if desired.
3. LANCÔME HYPNÔSE STAR MASCARA
   THE WAND: The asymmetrical brush has one flat side to build up the roots of lashes and one round side to separate and curl.
   THE LOOK: False lash-like
   THE TIP: After you’ve done a coat all over with the flat side, start with the round side at the center of the lashes, then the outside corners, then the inside.
