“Oak-derived quercetin proved to have exceptional performance in reducing the appearance of the signs of aging. Of course, the fact that oak is one of the trees that stands out for its longevity tells us that there is a natural defense mechanism worth looking into; the lab in essence confirmed our fascination with this tree that fortifies itself!”
OAK FACT: Oak trees can live up to 1,200 years and grow to almost 100 feet.
WHY DID YOU DECIDE TO ADD FOUNDATION TO THE LINE?
“Our goal was to create a beautiful foundation formula that was long-wear, crease-proof, and that would also provide antiaging benefits by improving skin's texture both inside and out. I have to say, the result is impressive!”
OAK FACT: There are over 400 species of oak trees.
TELL US ABOUT THE PROCESSING OF THE OAK.
“We use different parts of the tree—bark and leaves included—and those are all processed at our own extraction unit. It’s an exemplary unit that operates on a ‘no waste’ policy, allowing us to process all the parts of a plant while the residue is turned into organic soil and is sent back to our network of farmers.”
